Portsmouth Cats Protection rescues and rehomes stray and unwanted cats. All the cats that come into our care are checked by a vet. They then receive all veterinary care needed including vaccinations and treatments for fleas and worms. Adult cats are microchipped and neutered / spayed. Cat Protection offer financial assistance in the form of neutering vouchers for members of the public who qualify and the vouchers can be used at local vets (please contact us for further details on how to apply).
All of our rescued cats and kittens are looked after and housed by a network of volunteer fosterers in the local area who care for the animals in their own homes. Although we are Portsmouth Branch we have cats in foster homes from Hayling Island to Locks Heath so there is a cat wanting a new home near you.
