How to Adopt a Cat

As a Branch of Cats Protection, we always have many cats desperately needing homes. We have both information and photos of the cats and kittens looking for new homes but if one (or two!) catch your eye, please message us via this website or call us on 01268 950 424. We will be able to give you more details about the particular cat and will arrange the 'home visit' that is needed before the cat, or kitten, is homed with you. In the current climate in order to keep everyone safe, this 'home visit' can be set up via a facetime or zoom meeting, or if that is not possible we can just speak with you over the phone.

All cats are neutered (if old enough), treated for fleas and worms, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and health checked by a vet prior to homing. They are also insured with Pet Plan for the first four weeks within your care.  Cats Protection asks adopters for a fee of £75 when rehoming a cat or £95 when rehoming a kitten. If you feel able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received. We know times are hard so thank you for your decision to rehome a cat or kitten from the Branch.

Each cat or kitten homed from us creates a space for another cat to come in and we are grateful for your support by looking at this website - please let your friends and family know about us.
