In these challenging times with the developing situation with coronavirus (COVID-19), Cats Protection is taking extra precautions to keep our cats, volunteers, employees and the public safe and continue to provide high levels of care for the cats in our centres and branches as well as helpful welfare advice to cat owners.

For this reason, we are not currently homing cats from our branches or centres. To find out more, click here

SonicRayleigh, Castle Point & District

Big handsome Sonic is looking for a new home as the only pet. Sonic is very affectionate and, having come into our care with stress related issues, is now a relaxed, talkative cat - his fosterer says you just have to decide whether it’s chatting for food, litter tray, fuss or just a hello!

Sonic is not a lap cat but will spend many happy hours alongside you for a fuss / sleep. Sonic doesn’t seem to have a nasty bone in his body - even when having a tummy tickle the worst he does to his fosterer is to grip his hand in his mouth and paws. If you just remain still he soon lets go so you can continue too!

Sonic is a very playful boy and charges around the house like a lunatic when chasing his toys!

Sonic is suitable for an adult only family, or one with older teenagers, and his new family would need to give Sonic plenty of time before letting him go outside for the first time.
