Autumn Fayre 2019

The annual Cats Protection Autumn Fayre took place at the Tilehurst Methodist Church, Reading, on the 16th November. Reading Water Fest 2019

Reading Water Fest is a free event held at Forbury Gardens, which Cats Protection gladly became a part of this year. Visitors to this year’s celebration of canal life were treated to children’s activities, craft and charity stalls as well as boat parades and a boat tug of war. We have recently heard that not all vets automatically vaccinate against Feline leukaemia virus (FeLV) when administering the annual booster for cats. Cats Protection, as a member of The Cat Group, recommends vaccines for the following feline diseases: Feline infectious enteritis (FIE), Cat 'flu, and Feline leukaemia virus (FeLV).
