We have recently heard that not all vets automatically vaccinate against Feline leukaemia virus (FeLV) when administering the annual booster for cats. Cats Protection, as a member of The Cat Group, recommends vaccines for the following feline diseases: Feline infectious enteritis (FIE), Cat 'flu, and Feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Our branch of Cats Protection covers the area of postcodes RG1, RG4, RG8, RG9, RG30 and RG31. Areas to our East are covered by the Bracknell and Wokingham District Branch and to our South by Basingstoke Branch. Travelling along the A4 towards Newbury and we stop just north of Thatcham at which point the Newbury Adoption Centre takes over.We will gladly record details of lost cats in adjacent areas, but we cannot take in cats or offer help with neutering if you live outside our boundaries.
