Meet Benji!

Benji has a bit of a sad background but we are trying our very hardest to make things much happier for him, and we think he knows it! This beautiful boy was brought to our attention by a kind lady who was concerned about his welfare. Benji had clearly been living rough for quite some time as his coat was quite a state. It was also reported that some of the local children were being cruel to him and would throw rocks at him. He would just run and hide in a bush!

It took us quite a while to trap him and we expected that he would probably not be terribly friendly. How wrong were we! He is an absolute love bug and I was fortunate to meet him shortly after he arrived in our care. I was greeted with a loud "Meow", and I could swear a big cat smile! He was very happy to be made a fuss of and even started purring!

Benji is a big, beautiful tabby and we think that whoever adopts him will be very lucky to have him in their lives!

As we are not sure about his background we are unable to say if he would be suitable to be homed with very small children, other cats or dogs.

If you are interested in adopting Benji, please email adoption@rugby.cats.org.uk or call 01788 570010.
