Volunteering with Cats Protection
Welcome to the Stamford & District branch of Cats Protection and thank you for showing an interest in volunteering with us.At Cats Protection, we welcome all volunteers over the age of 18, whether you are young or old, male or female, there's a place for you with us and there is always help needed. If you can spare some time for us you'll be helping us make a difference to the lives and welfare of cats within our local area.
Cat Fosterer
We are always looking for people to foster our cats and kittens. We have people that foster cats in pens, located in their garden and others that prefer to foster in their own home.
The cost of installing a pen is quite significant so we really need to know that you are committed to fostering. Alternatively, if you have a spare room in your house, you could be an indoor foster carer with a view to having a pen later.

Fundraising volunteer
As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising volunteers use their passion for cats and people to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need. As a fundraising volunteer we want to support you to fundraise in whatever way suits you best – whether that’s organising a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, completing administration or supporting the development of new fundraising ideas! Whatever your skill set, this could be the role for you!
