Do you have any spare time to volunteer with cats?
A little time to spare for cats? Recently Retired? Would you like to do some volunteering?
If you are a person with a bit of spare time on your hands and you are an animal lover would you consider volunteering for Sutton, Kingston & District Branch of Cats Protection.
There are many ways you can help the cats in our care by supporting our fosterers and welfare team. This could involve assisting with a rescue, trapping a stray, scanning a cat for a microchip, delivering food and supplies to our fosterers or taking a cat to the vets.
Being able to drive and having a car is essential. You would not have to commit to a set day each week (as the needs for help are more random). Expenses will be reimbursed so you will not be out of pocket.
Your help could mean that more cats like Misty and Nelson are helped. Misty came from an unsuitable home where she spent most of her time outside. With a congenital visual impairment this caused much stress. She has now found a loving indoor home and no longer needs to be frightened.
Nelson was bought to us by a kind member of the public with an awful eye injury resulting in his eye being removed. Nelson is with one of our fosterers and is still looking for that forever home. Could you give Nelson that home?
