Working cats for rural homes - can you help?
11 January 2015
At Truro and District Cats Protection we offer help to landowners with groups of stray, feral and farm cats living on their property. Unfortunately sometimes the cats are unable to return permanently to their homes. This can be due to many factors ranging from concerns about their welfare from the landowner, to the property being sold or the owner sadly passing away.
At the moment we have several of these situations that we are dealing with resulting in us urgently needing homes for well over 100 feral/farm cats of all colours, ages and temperaments, from cuddly to feral.
All cats are neutered, health checked, wormed and de-flead before re homing and are available in pairs or small groups. We prefer to home them to places away from busy roads, where they will receive regular feeding and have access to a sheltered, and safe sleeping area.
All equipment needed to help with their resettlement is available on loan from our branch if required.
If you could help by rehoming even just a pair of these poor cats then please do get in touch with us on 0845 260 1386 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
