Ok so it doesn’t sound like much of a test, but to reach the summit of Scafell, you need to climb a huge 1,265 steps – and that’s just the way up!
After 1,265 steps, you will have reached the equivalent height of Scafell Pike, which is an incredible 964 metres.
Of course after climbing to the top, you need to get back down again. The combined total is 2,530 steps, but we will let you decide whether to take on this double challenge!
Use your stairs at home, or some steps near to where you live and complete the climb in one go, or spread across a number days, weeks or even months – it’s your choice.
Track your steps on you favourite app, verify your distance in our Facebook group, by email, or post on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtags below.
You will receive a digital medal to share your success with your friends, family and supporters.
Gina will be in touch with you to provide you some fab fundraising tips and moral support, plus lovely stories about the cats you are helping.
