Welcome to Cats Protection Weymouth & District Branch

We're here to support cats and kittens in Weymouth & District. We are a small branch covering many areas throughout Dorset including Dorchester, Weymouth, Portland, Bridport, Sherborne and the Purbecks.

Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we're passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Weymouth & District, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Weymouth & District area. Volunteer at Cats Protection Weymouth & District Branch

Without volunteers, Weymouth & District Branch simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats of Weymouth & District, you'll enjoy practical benefits such as discounted pet insurance. If you think you may be able to help us in some way, we would love to hear from you.

We have a variety of volunteer roles available, including 'hands on' cat fostering, and fosterer support roles.

Our aim is to find every cat that enters our care a "forever home", as well as educating cat owners about the importance of neutering and good general cat care.
