Leela |
Leela arrived home safely with us today. Has had a look around and is currently having a sleep after all the excitement of investigating her new home. Big thanks to David for looking after her and helping with the adoption process.
After 2 weeks, Leela has settled in well and none of us can imagine not having her as part of our family.
We have had Leela for 7 weeks now and can't imagine life without her! She had a wee check up at the vets today and her neuter scar has healed up perfectly. Don't think she enjoyed going in the cat carrier. Plan to let her outside this weekend....hopefully that will go well.

Cooper and Jess |
"Cooper and Jess are now a very much loved addition to our family. Jess is still very shy, but she loves to come down at night and sit with us. She now has a little cushion on top of a display cabinet in our living room she sleeps on. Jess loves playing with furry balls and to play with your feet under the covers. She also loves cuddles on our bed at night, although her favourite spot is usually on my hips or my husband's feet.
Cooper is such a clever wee man, he loves to play fetch with Nerf bullets and has chewed my Croc shoes, we sometimes think he believes he is a dog. His observation skills are amazing, he knows that you turn the key and push on the handle of the door to get out of the house. He has settled in really well again he loves cuddles and will now let us lift him up and have a little hug. They both are still jumpy when someone comes to the door, but Cooper seems to sense what time our kids come in and will come down and wait at the window to see them coming in.
As yet they haven't fully been outside yet. They usually go out, but if they hear an unfamiliar sounds they shoot back in again. It is little baby steps and we are hoping to get them to go outside fully by the summer. Although we would not mind of they chose to be inside cats."

Olaf and Pingu |

Just to let you know that both cats are settling in fine. Olaf is definitely the more confident of the two and is always wanting to be with you up on the couch\bed. Pingu is still a bit reserved. |

Maisie (was Minx) and Murphy |
"Murphy and Maisie (previously Minx) are both really happy cats at the moment, but typically of siblings, they don't always get along! They'd probably be happy in separate houses but when the big cat from 2 doors down comes into our garden they team up to chase him off. We've spent a fortune on cat toys & Maisie's favourite is food wrappers & Murphy's is whatever Maisie is playing with. Maisie has turned into a bit of a hunter - I think Murphy is a bit too clumsy (although he is getting a bit more graceful!)." |

Ozzy Warpig (was Eve) |

Mu (was Mia) |
... a tortie we rehomed through Cat Protection West Lothian... . She is called Ozzy Warpig and is now bestest friends with our older kitten Eddie which is great because Eddie desperately needed a pal after Bo died. We couldn't be happier and our ancient cat (Sooty) can finally get some peace. ...a new furever friendship is blossoming. |
... Mu (Moo) ... is the sweetest, purriest, cutest, craziest wee thing in the world, she has fitted in so well, we all love her so much, the first night we woke up to her padding and purring like crazy, she was so loving and its generally been the way she starts her day off everyday. |

Daisy and Penny (was Brook) |

Cass |

Daisy and Penny have settled in really well. They have made themselves quite at home, even booted Charlie off the sofa and take it in turns to sit on my lap while the other curls up in Charlies spot. Yesterday was the turning point, I came in with the shopping to a full on greeting along side Charlie, not a hint of shyness or timidity. Today they are testing boundary's, where a loud firm no would of had them fleeing upstairs at the weekend today when they decided my armchairs would make good scratch posts they just stared across the room as if to say you cant stop us, then when i stood up they just sauntered across the room to use their scratch posts. They are completely different cats, bold as brass. I am amazed at how quickly they have settled. |

Leyton |
Leyton has been living with us for two weeks, and he has settled in incredibly well. He is a lovely, gentle, affectionate cat - just what we were looking for. We all love him very much already, and we can't quite believe he has only been with us for a couple of weeks! He is certainly looking forward to going outside, but for now he is enjoying watching the garden. |

...Annie who we've re-named Margot (we both loved Margot from the Good Life) is settling in really well. After spending the first 3 nights hiding under the bed she's now coming out of her shell and is getting more confident every day. She's very vocal, not shy in letting us know when she wants attention and has started curling up with me on the sofa. See pics, this is the first night she jumped up and fell asleep on my legs! She's a cutie and we're smitten already... |

Florence |
Eilidh’s Florence story: Florence is the cutest cat ever, in her old home she used to be squeezed about and [in her first home] was kept in a bathroom without a name and then a family rescued her and named her Florence. Now we have her and we think she is having a really good time with us. She is playing about with us and brought us a bird and 3 mice. The 2 most funny things about her is. 1. She chases her tail around and 2. If we are all in one room and she is on her own she will come to the place with most people because I presume she feels safer with us. Here are some pictures of me and my sister with Florence. From Eilidh, age 8 |

Isla’s Florence story: Florence is the most adorable cat ever. She always leans on you when she wants attention and I love it so much !!!! she loves going outside (and catches mice and birds). First when we got her she explored the house the funniest thing was that we had a piano at that time so she jumped on the piano and she sort of played the piano but it did sound really bad. second since poor Florence got squeezed all the time [in her last home] she didn’t like getting lifted at the time - well she does now like getting lifted only with my mum and dad. Cosima (was Suzie) |

Dollie |
Suzie's had a name change and is now called Cosima, and she's had a full day of exploring and playing and is plumb tuckered out now. Happy to report that Cosima is quite settled in now, and has been playing happily. We've also had lots of cuddling (she has a very loud purr!) and she likes to play with freshly washed hair.
Dollie has been making herself very much at home! She seems to have a liking for drinking straight out of the tap. And she adores catnip! She is so funny and just adorable - even when she's causing mischief! |
Ponyo (was Audrey) and Pepe |
Audrey, adopted with Pepe, on 27/9, is renamed as Ponyo. She is here making friends with the neighbor's cat Mittens. She is doing great! Pepe, adopted on 27 September 2016. This shy boy comes alive after dark. He's doing well! He allowed us to pick him up and pet him after 24 hrs. Here he is, as he just caught a spider. He's a good boy |
