Heinz is an 8 year old ginger short-haired male.
He is a lovely cat and adores people but he will spray urine to mark his territory as soon as he feels vulnerable or worried. He has had a full veterinary examination and tests to make sure there is nothing physically wrong to cause this, and an 8 week behaviour therapy schedule has been undertaken by the fosterer to include all sorts of stress-reducing methods, cleaning regimes, regular routines, use of pheromones, being away from other cats etc. Unfortunately nothing has worked and Heinz continues to spray around his environment on a regular basis.
Therefore we are looking for an outdoor home for him but as he loves people so much it needs to be a place where someone is on-site and around most of the time, rather than a stables where there may only be people visiting once or twice a day.
A small-holding would be ideal with a cosy outbuilding for Heinz to make his home in and keep warm when it’s cold, and be around people when they are working outside.
The right home is needed for Heinz as he will be making the transition from being used to living indoors to having to stay outdoors but we are confident there will be a suitable place for him somewhere!
He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
