In memory of Jem
Jem had an awful start in life, but he never let that get him down. When he came to us in 2011, he had to learn to trust people again, that his food was his and wouldn't be taken away, and, in time, that no one was going to hurt him. He went from a constantly on-edge street cat to a loveable purring lump who adored having the space between his ears scratched. We miss him dearly, and hope that his legacy will be that even the knowledge that even the roughest and toughest of cats can become soppy, loving lumps. 14th February 2009 - 26th November 2024
