This pretty dark torti lady is Lottie and she is approximately 8 years of age.

Lottie came into care as a stray after attempts to find her owners proved unsuccessful. On meeting new people she can be shy but her foster mom says once she gets to know you she will relax and we are sure once she is settled into her new home you will have yourself a loyal and loving companion.

Lottie is a cat who is always after love and fuss and constantly craves attention. She follows her foster mom around in the hope that she will sit down as Lottie loves nothing more than a comfy lap where she purrs away and kneads you like she is treading grapes! Her foster mom said Lottie can get a bit grumpy when she moves her off her lap and realises she is being left alone which may be down to her fear of being abandoned again.

Lottie has been known to give a little love bite without warning when she gets over excited but she means you no harm. Directly after doing this she turns and looks at you as if to say ‘sorry please forgive me’. For this reason and because we don’t know much about her background we feel she would be better suited to a quieter adult only home with a mature person or couple that are at home for the majority of the day and are looking for a companion cat. A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly definitely wouldn’t be for her.

Lottie prefers pate type food wet food, will nibble on dry food and loves Dreamies. She is starting to learn to play and will chase balls with those wild eyes that cats get when stalking pray!

She hasn’t shown much interest in venturing outside so when she is able to she probably won’t wander too far, preferring to stay indoors getting lots of fuss. Lottie needs to be the only pet as she definitely wants all the love and attention to herself.

If you’re looking for a lap warmer then arrange to come and meet her.
