RubyReservedWolverhampton

Ruby is approx 4 years old &, due to a change in her owner’s circumstances, is looking for a new home under our Direct Rehoming Scheme.

She is a very affectionate & friendly lady who adores being stroked (especially under her chin) & she doesn’t mind the odd tummy tickle. Ruby adores company & follows her owner around chirruping as she goes. She also loves curling up on a comfy lap or cosy rug.

Ruby has a healthy appetite & enoys dry food & wet food in gravy only. She adores Dreamies & Webbox and sits & begs for them. She is spayed, litter trained & up to date with her vaccinations.

Ruby needs to go to an adult only home or one where the kids are at least 10 plus as a boisterous household or one where young kids visit regularly wouldn’t be for her. As she loves company, her forever home needs to be one where she isn’t left for long periods of time on her own. She also needs to be the only pet. Finally it would be lovely if her new home had a garden to explore but she won’t stray far as she likes her home comforts too much.

To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection. All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder (whichever applies) to be obtained before a home check is done.
