HarryWolverhampton

This is Harry and he is looking for a home under out Direct Rehoming Scheme.

At the start of September he wandered into the garden of a kind family who have been feeding him ever since. Unfortunately they are unable to keep him and attempts to find his owners have proved unsuccessful so he is now looking for a forever home.

Harry is approximately 5/6 years of age and, as you can see from his pictures, he is a handsome ginger boy.
Initially on meeting you he is very timid as he is wary of new people. However, he now trusts the people who are feeding him and is a very loving, friendly, fussy boy. We are sure when he is settled into his new home his confidence will continue to grow.

Harry has a very healthy appetite and he enjoys wet food and especially loves the chicken and fish he is fed.
His ideal home would be one that is adult only and he would make a lovely companion for an older person. It is possible that he could live with children aged at least 10 plus who know how to behave around more timid cats. A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly would definitely not be for him. Harry needs to go to a home where he is the only pet.

To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection.

All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a ca
