SkyeReservedWolverhampton

This stunning lady is Skye and she is approximately 13 months old.

Skye arrived in the UK in early 2020 to live with another blind cat, but unfortunately they didn’t bond so she came into care. Skye had to have her remaining eye removed and is now totally blind, but this doesn’t stop her antics! Skye has had a full vet check and is in great condition. She is a very clean cat who uses her litter tray.

Skye likes doing things on her terms. If she wants a cuddle, she’ll happily sit on your lap, otherwise she’ll sit nearby. She gently licks her foster mom’s hands and jumps up her legs without clawing, but doesn’t like being picked up.

Skye is a live wire, who is full of boundless energy and enjoys investigating everything. She loves to sit in the veranda window listening to the birds and chattering away to them. Skye has exemplary hearing and is an expert fly catcher! She enjoys playing with toys and loves her cardboard scratch board and scratching tower which will go to her new home with her.

Skye dislikes loud noises. She becomes quite anxious if she hears babies/ children on TV so we are looking for an adult only home and one where young children don’t visit regularly. We feel Skye needs to be an only pet, with a patient owner who understands that it will take time for her to adjust to new surroundings.

We’d ideally like her home to have a catio so she can safely experience the outdoors once settled or screening up at windows, such as “flat cats” so she can feel the air/hear the outside world. She will also enjoy having indoor space once she’s accustomed to her surroundings.

Interested in rehoming Skye? Then please send your name and email address to adoption@wolverhampton.cats.org.uk and we’ll be in touch. The adoption fee is £75 which includes worming/flea treatment, neutering, microchipping, a full vet health check, blood tests, and the pet carrier she will arrive in.
