FREE Neuter/spay/snip for your cat

FREE Neuter/spay/snip for your cat

Cats are prolific breeders, and one female is capable of having up to 18 kittens per year.  They can also start breeding at a very young age, so we recommend that cats are neutered at around four months of age. Neutered cats live longer, healthier lives and it is the most humane way to stop unwanted pregnancies. Neutering also prevents some cancers, reduces straying, fighting and spraying.

Neutering is the only effective way to reduce the number of unwanted cats in the UK. Cats Protection seeks to dispel myths, spread the neutering message and make it easier for owners on low incomes to get their cats neutered.

If you need to neuter your cat and can't afford the cost, we can help.

Wolverhampton Cats Protection are running a FREE cat neutering offer open to qualifying WV postcode residents from 1st-14th April 2019.

If your cat is at least 20 weeks old, we can issue a free neutering voucher which will completely cover the cost of the neutering operation for your cat(s) at selected vets within the Wolverhampton area. This isn't just an offer for kittens, it's valid for cats of any age.

Call our helpline on 01902 651173 and our volunteers will talk you through the process, or email us at cpwolverhampton@virginmedia.com for more information.

Terms and conditions: Offer must be claimed between 1-14 April 2019 inclusive. Valid for residents in selected WV postcode areas only. To claim this offer, email cpwolverhampton@virginmedia.com or call 01902 651173 and provide your full name, address, contact number and details of your cat. Free neutering will be provided at selected vets within the Wolverhampton area, we will endeavour to arrange this at the nearest participating veterinary surgery to your home. Please note whilst the offer must be claimed by the expiry date of 14/04/19, the procedure will need to be booked in with the vet and the timing of this will depend on each vet’s availability, but will be within 3 months of the offer date. Vouchers will be sent to the registered owner of the cat to cover the full cost of the neutering procedure, but you will need to contact the vet to book in the operation at a mutually convenient time. Vouchers will expire and be invalid after 8 weeks. The Charity will not be responsible for any other veterinary care required for your cat or for follow up treatment occurring as a result of complications with the neutering. You are responsible for getting your cat to and from the veterinary clinic.
