In Loving Memory: Fred

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to inform you all that our Adoption Centre cat Fred, star and scribe of Fred’s Blog, has suddenly passed away on Wednesday following a heart attack.

He was over 15 years of age and had been the centre cat for over five years, taking on the role as official meet and greeter. A role that he took very seriously and greatly enjoyed.

As many of you may have known, he overcame the removal of his right eye in December, following an infection, but quickly bounced back, proudly parading around the centre with his war wounds. Even Tuesday morning he was out raiding the local bin he brought us back a cold sausage he had caught. He was a character till the end.
