Volunteer for our Kempston shop and raise funds for felines

Volunteer for our Kempston shop and raise funds for felines

Our shop is open from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturdays, selling everything from second-hand clothes and household goods to bric-a-brac and books.

Cats Protection is also keen to hear from anyone willing to volunteer their time to help in the shop. While the role is incredibly varied, it will include liaising with the general public, sorting and pricing donations and organising stock. No previous shop experience is needed, as full training will be given – volunteers need just to have a passion for cats and bags of enthusiasm.

Tamsin, Bedford & Biggleswade Cats Protection’s Coordinator says: “We have many roles available and varying hours so come along and meet new people, learn new skills, update your CV and enjoy celebrating your success in a winning team. By sparing just a few hours a week, it can make a huge difference to needy cats. It’s also a great way to make new friends – both human and feline!”

If you live near Kempston and are interested in volunteering at the shop, call 01234 840827 or pop in and see either Amanda, shop Manager, or Jacky, assistant Manager.
