EACH year, we home about 200 cats and kittens who have been abandoned or whose owners can no longer look after them. For 2010, the figure was 246 (138 cats and 108 kittens), up from 215 in 2009. Last year's achievement is amazing, considering we were evicted in July from our shelter at the Burnt Ash Vet Clinic in Lee.
