Cats Protection National Fundraising Weekend

From 10 to 12 March 2017, Pets at Home has offered Cats Protection another three-day fundraising event across all of their 430 stores. Our four previous dedicated weekends have raised over £165,000 for us, a fantastic boost to the kitty!

During this weekend all Pets at Home stores will be selling special Simon's Cat pin badges and offering customers the opportunity to donate 50p or round-to-a-pound at the till for Cats Protection!

We will have stalls set up in the Bishopbriggs, Drumchapel & Parkhead Forge Pets At Home stores at the following time:

Friday 10 March – 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Saturday 11 March – 11.00am – 5.00pm
Sunday 12 March – 11.00am – 5.00pm


As well as our tombola we will have plenty of gifts for your cat & treats for yourself.

The 57th Annual GUVMA Rodeo

The 57th Annual GUVMA Rodeo is a charity fundraiser taking place on Saturday the 22nd of April at the Garscube Estate in Glasgow, 11am-5pm.

The event is being hosted by the Glasgow University Veterinary Medical Association. The event is organized by vet students to raise money for animal welfare-related organizations and is the University of Glasgow's Largest charity event!

The GUVMA Rodeo aims to provide a day of fun and entertainment for the entire family, while supporting charitable causes.

Beneficiary charities for this year's Rodeo are: PDSA, Cats Protection Glasgow Branch, Support Dogs, Hessilhead Wildlife rescue & The Trusty Paws Clinic.

The event provides an opportunity for commercial businesses, local companies, and charities to interact and communicate with a wide audience comprising of students and families from the local area and beyond. The previous year's Rodeo raised £9,000.00 for charity, and their committee is working hard to ensure another successful Rodeo!
