Older and shy cats

There are many awaiting new homes and for someone to love and shelter them. Many cats live longer nowadays (as do humans) due to medical advances and attention to diet. Just imagine, the children are off your hands, you have probably re-decorated and re-furnished and the last thing you want is a lively kitten running up your curtains and creating mayhem! Lovely as young things are, there comes a time when you want to lounge in a chair and chill out and just enjoy the peace and quiet. So, please think about an older or shy cat as they make wonderful companions in life.
