Back for the fourth time, Cats Protection’s Rescue Cat Awards 2008, sponsored by Purina PetCare are celebrating stories of feline heroism, survival, companionship and bravery.
Once again, we were overwhelmed with your fantastic tales and are pleased to announce the finalists for each category, all in with a chance of taking the overall Rescue Cat title! Click the categories below to discover which cats could be getting their paws on a “Feline Oscar”:
The awards were open to any living cat in the UK, rescued as a stray by owners, or adopted from any animal rescue organisation. We received hundreds of amazing feline stories, so thank you for nominating your feline friend into the Rescue Cat Awards 2008.
Nominations for the Rescue Cat Awards 2008 are now closed, but donations are always welcome; you can make an online donation here.
The winners will be announced on 1 August 2008 during an awards ceremony at The Pharaohs’ Palace Hospitality Suite, which is part of the Tutankhamun Exhibition in London’s prestigious O2 Arena.
