We all like a story with a happy ending -read on to see some! And if you
have recently rehomed a cat, let us know and we'll add your success
story.
Snowy was recovering from an accident and mistreatment in his past and
needed a quiet home. He has now found one

, on the outskirts of Lerwick.
Here's a report on his progress:
"Just to let you all know Snowy has settled in fine. Very loving boy
and a bit of a tearaway. He has lots of new toys and a scratching post.
Loves his food and for some unknown reason loves crisps! Still a
little jumpy with the hoover and the ironing board and cooking foil.
Has lovely chats with the birds and so far the Christmas Tree is intact
but there is an abundance of presents under the tree that he is dying to
get the paper off.
Does like to cuddle with us in bed and has a 5 am purring session.
Thanks again - he is such a lovely cat and is providing us with plenty
of laughs, loves and cuddles - just what we needed for Christmas."
Arnie was so scared when he came to us that we thought he would never
respond to humans and was destined for life

as a barn cat. However, his
fosterer’s patience has paid off and he is now happy to be a house cat
in Bigton.
Twinkle is around 10 years old and was made homeless after her owner
died. A, friendly little cat who loves the company of both humans and
other felines, she has found a home with a gentleman where she can start
life anew.
Do remember, folks - check your cat's collar has not become too tight. This can easily happen without anyone noticing, and can cause discomfort, even danger. You should be able to insert a couple of fingers into a collar.
