Do you remember Smudge our FIV boy who we took in during the first half of 2022?
He initially found it hard to find a home but doesn’t he look well now?
“He has settled into a routine, which seems to include sleeping a lot of the time, and watching the garden birds...oh, and eating the rest of the time. He has taken to sleeping with me at night. It took a while for him to start playing with toys, pens etc but he has picked that up and seems to have bouts where he starts to hunt his playthings then runs off as if he is being chased!
Here is a picture of him. I think I had forgotten to give him dinner, hence the "look".
Isn’t it great to know he now has the chance to be a cat with no worries, to have fun for the first time in his life and to live in comfort? FIV cats can live for many years after diagnosis with the right care. We wish you a long and healthy life Smudge in your furever home
