Update on Autumn Fair and Adoption Day

Thank you to all those who attended our Adoption Day last Sunday ( 8th ). Being a sunny day attendance was lower than last time but those who did come told us what an enjoyable day they had “browsing” both the cats and the items on sale plus the tea and cakes! Of special interest proved to be the covers for pet covers – which makes covering the carriers with cats in transit just that little bit easier!
Fundraising events are helpful to us in terms of raising
funds ( we are totally self-funding ) but more importantly there were enquiries about all the cats and kittens we currently have in care and hopefully all of them will soon be off to new homes after home checks have been completed.
Thanks must also go to all the volunteers who attended or worked “behind the scenes” in order to ensure the success of the event. We couldn’t do without them – especially our tireless fosterers – but we are always grateful for more help. As the saying goes

Naturally we have other cats coming into care all the time and if you missed out on this occasion please keep an eye on our website where details of “new” cats are constantly being updated when ready for rehoming.
Alternatively, our next Christmas themed Adoption Day is at the same venue on Sunday 3rd December. There will again be many craft items on sale – many of them ideal for Christmas presents for humans or their moggies. Hope to see you there.
