Direct Homing

Direct Homing
Cats that are offered by this branch of Cats Protection for adoption are cared for in our dedicated Homing pens.  These are NOT open to the public.
We do however receive many requests to assist with rehoming cats for many reasons. Our fostering facilities are usually full and we are unable to take these cats into care, and they are therefore placed onto our waiting list. We will discuss the need for rehoming with the caller and may suggest that we can assist by connecting them directly to someone who wishes to adopt a cat (and we may not have the perfect cat for them) in which case we might act as a 'bridge' and help both parties.
Under these circumstances we will of course not have vet checked the cat, nor will we have vaccinated, microchipped or neutered the cat - this will all be the responsibility of the new owner if a direct homing is facilitated.
