Welcome to the Wellingborough and Rushden branch of Cats Protection.  We are a group of volunteers working to rescue and re-home stray and unwanted cats and kittens.  All our cats are looked after by dedicated fosterers from their own homes. We are always looking for new volunteers so if you would like to join our team of committed cat lovers please view our Volunteering page. Please also view our what we do page to get a better insight of what are team of volunteers do.

Urgent appeal

This is an urgent appeal for loving homes for the remaining “56 rescue cats”.
These cats have been through so much but are still so friendly and adorable, all they need is a loving home.
Some of the cats would ideally like to go in pairs but some can be homed on their own.  There are a few that require lots of company.  Some of the cats have either had an eye removed or only have vision in one eye for other reasons, they will need to be homed away from busy roads.
Please help us give these cats the life they deserve, lets show them that life doesn’t always have to be so cruel and hard.

Mature Cats

There are so many benefits to homing a more mature cat and there are so many of them in care that get over looked due to their age.  Many older cats make great companions and are quite happy to spend longer periods of time on their own but also enjoy spending time with you. Pleae look at some of our mature cats that are looking for their perfect home.
