A survey by CP has shown that 45 per cent of owners with two or more cats confuse signs of multi-cat warfare as signs of feline friendship. Owners were unable to correctly identify interaction between cats as positive or negative.
Nicky Trevorrow, CP’s behaviour manager explains the importance of this survey as “owners can help their cats get on better” and hopes this will reduce the number of cats given up to CP.
