100 Miles For Our Cats!

On Saturday 15th August, Alan Davis took to his wheels to raise money for Basingstoke and District Cats Protection. Alan, a volunteer with the branch, saw the My Prudential RideLondon 100 mile challenge as a great way to raise funds for the branch after having to cancel all spring and summer fundraising activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic
Although the original My Prudential RideLondon event had also been cancelled due to Covid-19, it went ahead as a 'virtual' event, allowing participants to ride their own route in order to complete their chosen challenge. Alan's route took in North Hampshire and West Berkshire which he completed in 9:40 minutes, during which time he popped in to see Arla and Smudge currently with fosterer Lynne.
