Name: Bindy

Location: Plymouth & Rame

Bindy’s story is one of resilience and transformation. When she first arrived in our care, she was clearly overwhelmed by the stresses of living in a busy multi-cat environment, displaying signs of anxiety such as excessive fur licking and trembling like a leaf. Through dedicated support and gentle intervention, Bindy has blossomed into a friendly and outgoing three-year-old, with her lovely coat now showing remarkable regrowth.
Bindy is seeking an adopter who can provide attentive support for her ongoing requirements. She has a known heart murmur, so her new family will need to work closely with Cats Protection in the early days, especially to monitor her eating habits and to assist with healthy weight gain.
Bindy’s previous anxiety stemmed from living with multiple cats, so she is best suited to a single-cat household where she can truly relax and thrive. She loves having access to the outdoors and is a bundle of energy during play sessions, delighting in “zoomies” and climbing adventures. During the early days, it’s important to watch all exits closely, as Bindy’s curiosity and zest for exploration are boundless.
Once Bindy feels comfortable in her new surroundings, she reveals her affectionate and loving nature. Her favourite perch is an old cardboard box from which she can keep a watchful eye on her human, especially when she’s not dashing about the house. She cherishes close connections and will reward patience and care with loyal companionship and sweet moments of affection.
Bindy is a special cat who has overcome significant challenges and is ready to start a new, happier chapter in her life. She’ll thrive with an adopter who can offer patience, understanding, and consistent care, and in return, Bindy will give her heart and affection. If you’re seeking a devoted companion and are able to support her unique needs, Bindy could be the perfect addition to your home.
