MaxBasingstoke & District

Poor Max has been with us since December. He came to us when his owner went into a nursing home. He is such a handsome boy and very healthy for his age, but we think he might be a bit deaf, as when taken by surprise he has occasionally been known to bite. His owner had him for 14 years though and was upset when she had to leave him behind, so I cannot believe this was ever a big issue for her. When Max first came in he did give the fosterer a couple of little nips, but now he has got to know her he has become affectionate and loving, enjoying a fuss, rubbing around her legs and even sitting on her lap.

Max needs to be with someone who is experienced with cats. It is probably best not to expose him to small children though and no other pets. Given the right home he will be a lovely companion. Its a shame to see him in a CP pen for so long.
