Direct rehoming scheme is back in business!

North Birmingham branch is delighted to be given the green light, now Covid restrictions on adoptions have lifted, to offer again its 'Direct Rehoming Scheme'. And more than delighted to have such a beautiful cat - tabby-and-white-boy Balto - to set the ball rolling.

Click through to the relaunched 'directs page' to read all about Balto, why he needs a new home, and the sort of home his owner is seeking. And if you like what you see and what you read, just get in touch with Balto's owner direct. He might be just the right cat for you and there's no fees involved in the scheme. But, as we always say, if you want to make a donation, it is always welcomed!

Direct rehoming opportunities were removed from the CP website during Covid restrictions, but the Branch is pleased to say it is up and running again. Homing Officer Elaine explains the service. “Where we, as a local branch, are not able to take in a cat that needs a new home, we recommend cat owners do their best to find a new home for their pet by asking friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues if they might like to adopt.

"If that fails, we can help via our Direct Homing Scheme. Send us clear good quality photographs of the cat via e-mail, along with a full description of the cat - age, whether friendly, and neuter/vaccination/microchip status along with contact details. This is referred to as a 'private adoption' – all the details are now back on the website.”
