It's free, it's fun, it's feline ...

21 August 2018
It Education volunteers with North Birmingham Branch would like to 'cat-ch you in the library for some feline fun on Thursday 30th August - 10.30 to 12.30 and anytime inbetween'. There'll be story-telling-time, fun cat-craft activities, and Mums, Dads, Carers and Kids can get together and learn about cats and kittens and what makes them happy.

Pam Wood of Cats Protection and Pat Pedder of the library have set up the mornings activities - so all they need now is for those keen on cats (or just keen on lots of feline fun!) to book a place. It's free, so to book or for more details call 464 0798.

Says Pam: "These library sessions are always fun and, we hope, informative too. Just now, our CP shop in the High Street is holding a children's cat-story-writing competition with a first prize of a £10 W H Smith voucher, so if anyone wants to sit quietly and write a story to enter the competition, they can do that too - then drop it off at the shop. We'll remind you to put your name, address, school and contact details on the back. Can I say a big thank you to Michael at the library, for making us such a great poster!"
