How you can help

Welcome to Cats Protection Preston Branch.

We are a group of volunteers who work to rescue and rehome stray and abandoned cats and kittens in the PR1 - PR7, and PR25 / PR26 postcode areas of Lancashire.
In 2012 the Preston Branch helped approximately 2900 cats, most of them needed veterinary attention of some kind. Our bill for vet care, food, litter and transport for the year was approximately £1,000 per week, raised by our members through fundraising events. We rehomed 158 cats in 2011, 11 more than in 2010. We hope to home even more in 2013, with your help. We helped with neutering costs for 2609 cats, including 325 feral cats who had to be trapped before neutering, and cared for afterwards. 294 of those ferals went back to their original home, and we managed to find new homes for the other 31.
