Would you like to help our fundraising efforts but are unable to get to the events? You can now sponsor or part sponsor a jumble sale, table top sale or Fair for a minimum donation of £25. You can specify whether you want the donation to be given in memory or in honour of a person or a pet, and this will be mentioned in publcity for the event. Would you be willing to host a coffee morning / evening for us? If you are in our area and would like us to bring our trade stall to you, a coffee evening is a great way to get your friends together to talk about cats and kittens, and to do your shopping in the comfort of your own home.

DO YOU eBAY? We're currently making about £100 - £150 a month selling stuff on eBay (eBay ID prestoncatsprotection). It's hard work, but if you currently sell on eBay, and are willing to donate the profits of some auctions to us, then please let us know as soon as you list the auction, and I will try to help to promote it. We are set us as a charity on eBay now, and you can find us (Cats Protection, Preston Branch) in their list of charities.

We always need good quality bric-a-brac, clean CDs, DVDs, children's toys and household goods, but cant't take electrical items or large items of furniture. We cannot legally sell electrical items, and have to take them straight to the council recycling centre, which is not the best use of our volunteers limited time.
