Our Cats Protection shops play a key part in raising the funds needed to help thousands of cats and kittens each year. Our shop assistant volunteers help with all aspects of the day to day running of one of our fantastic shops. They serve customers, help with stock rotation, create displays - and everything in between! They are part of a passionate retail team that make sure our shops are enjoyable places for customers to visit, leading to repeat custom and vital funds being raised to help our feline friends in need.

Cat Admissions Volunteer
At Cats Protection we will continue to find new and loving homes for cats and kittens until our work around information, education and neutering reduces the long-term need for homing. Life in a rescue environment is not ideal for any cat compared with a warm, loving home. Our cat admissions volunteers help our volunteer groups and teams admit cats into our care in the most effective way possible, making the process as easy and stress free for both people and our feline friends alike.
Closing date: 17 Nov 2017
Across Cats Protection there are thousands of cats and kittens needing temporary homes until they find their forever families. Many of our feline friends are cared for by volunteer fosterers in their homes or in purpose built pens in their gardens. Most of our volunteer fosterers care for one or two cats at a time, which makes a huge difference and gives these cats a second chance at a happy life. They provide vital hands on care and accommodation to stray, abandoned or injured cats and are part of a dedicated team of volunteers committed to finding new homes for cats in need.
