Blackie
Blackie was taken in as a stray when his elderly owner died and he had to look after himself.
He had a mended broken leg and was being fed by kindly neighbours who were worried about what had happened to him and whether he would survive out in the winter.
In great health for all his adventures, Blackie has happily landed on his feet in a warm and loving home where he can purr away on the sofa when the winter comes.
