ArchieWolverhampton

Archie is approximately 6 years old and is looking for a new home under our Direct Rehoming Scheme. It would be lovely if he could be rehomed with his sister Amber as they are close but this isn’t essential.

Archie he is a very handsome chap with a very cheeky personality and he is a loving little rascal. He is very inquisitive and likes to sit up high on places such as the top of the fridge freezer.

He has a healthy appetite and enjoys Whiskas or Felix in gravy or jelly but he is not that bothered about dry food.

Archie is currently on medication for gingivitis which his owner will discuss when you meet.

Archie needs to go to an adult only home or one where the kids are at least 10 plus as a boisterous household or one where young kids visit regularly wouldn’t be for him. If going to a home without Amber this needs to be one where he isn’t left for long periods of time on his own as he is used to having her for company. He currently lives as a housecat although it may be possible he would venture outdoors if introduced gradually.

To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection.

All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder (whichever applies) to be obtained before a home visit can be undertake
