We recently launched a Just Giving campaign to raise money to cover an operation for gorgeous Sweep. Ten years before she came into our care she'd had a leg fracture successfully repaired, but one of the screws had moved and was sticking out above her skin. We're very pleased to say that, thanks to kind donations, we were able to go ahead with the
operation to remove the metalwork - and Sweep is now recovering well, and looking for her new home - See our Adoption Page for details.
She and her sister Sooty were taken in by our branch after their owner sadly passed away. They have been much loved pets and were used to undivided love and affection from their owner. Despite the upheaval they’ve adapted well to life with their foster carer, and are still enjoying plenty of attention. But the owner's family advised us that the duo were not really friends and would probably be happiest rehomed separately. So you'll find Sooty on our Adopt Page too.
