Welcome to the Milton Keynes & District Branch of Cats Protection.
The charity has been working in the Milton Keynes area for over 22 years now, covering Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Olney, Newport Pagnell, Winslow, Woburn Sands and the villages surrounding these towns (postcodes MK1 to MK19 and parts of MK46).
Over that time the charity has worked tirelessly, establishing an effective cat neutering programme with special emphasis on owners who are on low incomes, pensions or students in the city. Every year Cats Protection gives out hundreds of vouchers to assist people to avoid unwanted litters being abandoned or given away. As the city has grown dramatically so too has the resident cat population and with it the problem of cats being left on the streets and many more needing re-homing.
This branch is entirely run by unpaid volunteers who look after cats in their own homes and fit Cats Protection work around jobs, family commitments, etc.
