Conquer Ben Nevis from the comfort of your own home!
We're challenging you to push your body to the max and scale the dizzy heights of your own staircase.
Ok so it doesn’t sound like much of a test, but to reach the summit of Ben Nevis, you need to climb a huge 1,764 steps – and that’s just the way up!
After 1,764 steps, you will have reached the equivalent height of Ben, which is an incredible 1,344 metres.
Of course after climbing to the top, you need to get back down again. The combined total is 3,528 steps, but we will let you decide whether to take on this double challenge!
Use your stairs at home, or some steps near to where you live and complete the climb in one go, or spread across a number days, weeks or even months – it’s your choice.
Track your steps on you favourite app, verify your distance in our Facebook group, by email, or post on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtags below.
You will receive a digital medal to share your success with your friends, family and supporters.
By accepting this challenge you can help to support the Chelmsford branch of Cats Protection.
