Story about and mum cat and her six kittens that were taken in by Cats Protection’s Bridgend Adoption Centre after they were found in a prison van at Parc Prison in Bridgend.
The kittens have been named after famous fictional detectives: Jessica, Sherlock, Christie, Marple, Kojak and Morse. Mum Agatha proved harder to catch than her kittens but was reunited with them a day later. Staff were concerned that she might reject them as they had been hand-fed for a day so the kittens were smeared with cat food to disguise the human smell and she was soon happily nursing her kittens again.
