Last call for photos

03 September 2015

We are producing a calendar for 2016 that shows the entire range of rescued cats in our area and this is the last call for photos because the competition ends on Sunday (6th).

Please send us photos of the cats that you have given a second chance (whether through our branch, another branch or another rescue organisation) to cpwl.web@gmail.com. We ask for a voluntary £2 donation per entered image to help with the costs of producing the calendar so that everything that we raise can go directly to help cats in need in our area. You can enter as many images as you like.

On the final calendar, photos will be 21cm x 21cm. Submitted images can be in most common formats but should be as high resolution as possibly. Low resolution photos will not display well when printed larger.

Our target is to fund the initial print run, but should we exceed our target, then donations will either be used to produce more calendars or used directly to help cats in need in the West Lothian and West Edinburgh area.

At the end of the competition, we shall choose 13 photos to be included in the calendar and we would really like a range of photos - old and young, handsome beauties and characters, and everything in between. Please include a short description of your cat(s) in the photo(s) with the entry. We have not yet decided how much information will be included with each photo as this will depend on what we receive but it will not be more than a short sentence that best sums up each one.

Should we not receive enough suitable entries then we shall use our own photos of rehomed and currently fostered cats.

The closing date for the competition is 6 September 2015.

Once produced, we intend to make the calendar available through EBay, our website, our Facebook page and at our various re-homing days and events.

Contributions can be made at our JustGiving page.
You can also contribute by texting PURR80 £2 to 70070 (you can donate £1,£2,£3,£4,£5 or £10 this way) .

Please read these terms and conditions before entering:
