A busy week...

After a quieter period over the summer for trapping ( due to the heat ) we have more than made up for things recently - you may have noticed our Cats Protection Van buzzing all around St Albans. Over a period of eight days in September our small team have:
•
Trapped, neutered and returned two feral cats to a colony (looked after by a colony caretaker)
• Trapped, neutered and relocated four feral kittens (having found pest control jobs for them at a couple of fantastic stables)
• Trapped a stray cat who is now in foster care.
• and found homes for two lovely black cats (black cats being harder to place)
We have to say a big thank you to the three vets who worked with us for the six TNR's - Village Vets Marshalswick, Village Vets Hatfield and Medivet St Albans - as well as the people that were looking after the feral kittens and stray cat.
We are also very grateful for the people that have taken on the feral kittens to give them a new life in lovely surroundings.
