Moggie Monday - Tom finds a home
Tom is an older kitten who was living as part of a feral colony. He was actually caught due to barging into a set trap - pushing aside the younger kitten we WERE trying to trap.

Although attempts were made to socialise him and he accepted some human touch he was obviously very unhappy at being contained. Therefore a safe placement with a dedicated and experienced feeder was sought.
Tom was actually placed in a location with a cat of similar nature who had been rehomed from a different rescue. After some time - as his new owner continued basic socialisation in order to build trust - he was allowed freer access to the area in which he was now living.

Tom and his lady friend now not only have a safe and secure placement but they also have an onsite companion.

His owner told us
“Tom’s been let out now and he's been fine, he doesn't stray too far from the barn and always comes in for food. Florence tells him off occasionally if he tries to eat from her bowl but otherwise they are coexisting well.
He doesn't run away if I'm on my own but he will if anyone else is with me - I expect he will get braver which would be lovely. He's quite a funny little thing, walks across the barn doors and the beams!”

Happy furever home Tom.
