Adoption Checklist

You will need to provide us with the following information, ready to reserve a cat. Please note this can only be done via email at this time.

Proof of address

This could be one of the following:

  • Credit card statement
  • Council tax bill
  • Utility bill
  • Driving licence
If in rented accomodation, you will need a letter of consent by your landlord. Please request for a letter before you apply for a cat as it will speed up the homing process.

Your address

Depending on your location, certain cats may be more or less suitable for you. In the first instance, we will check your home address on Google Maps to give us an idea of your location. Please note that a home on a very busy road will not be suitable for outdoor cats. We may consider rehoming an indoor cat in this situation.
In some circumstances, where your house may not be on google or hard to see, we will carry out a home visit before adoption.

Brief details of other members of the household and any other pets

Some cats are nervous around small children and/or other pets (regardless of how friendly these pets may be). Each of our cats will have their needs and suitability for living with other animals and children on their profile page. If possible, we would ask for you to bring your dog to the Centre to meet your matched cat.
