New Adoption fees from February 1st

23 January 2023
Our Adoption Fee explained
Why does Cats Protection ask for a fee?
As a charity, we have to be mindful of our costs. It often costs us over £100 to get a cat ready for a home and while the fee does not cover all this expenditure, it does mean we can continue to help many more of the cats that need us.
We do everything we can to ensure your cat receives only the very best standards of love and care while they are with us. All cats receive a full thorough health check by our vet, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped if necessary and any vet procedures for health issues are carried out. Post adoption our cats come with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
Charging a fee also means we can be certain that all the aspects of owning a cat, including the financial responsibilities, can be met by our potential adopters.
Changes to Holsworthy and Bideford adoption fees with effect from 1st Feb 2023 -
🐱All Adult Cats - £85
🐱All kittens 6 months and below - £105
Choosing a Cats Protection cat is such a great way of getting a cat and you really are helping us to give cats, many of which have been simply abandoned or mistreated, a new start in life!
