It is our sad duty to tell you that our friend and fellow volunteer, Mrs Edna Fisher, passed away on the morning Monday 6th March, at home, with her daughter by her side. Edna had been ill for a while, but she carried on with her fund raising work right until our Christmas Fair last November. She had volunteered for the branch for over a quarter of a century as a fund raiser, fosterer and cat welfare volunteer. Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed by everyone at Preston Branch who knew her. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
